Starting April 25, 2025, Donald Trump Jr. ran a paid speaking tour titled "Trump Business Vision 2025" through Hungary, Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria. In Budapest he met Hungary's Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó and was paid to appear at a dinner sponsored by Hungarian business-news outlet Portfolio Hungary. In Bulgaria he appeared on stage with Antoni Trenchev — co-founder of cryptocurrency platform Nexo, which had been fined $45 million by the SEC in 2023 and ordered out of the US market — at the same event where Trenchev announced Nexo's re-entry into the US. Don Jr. used the trip to scout potential new family real-estate deals.
