Jerry W. Ross is an American businessman who founded Botanic Tonics, the Oklahoma-based maker of the kratom-and-kava tonic Feel Free, in 2020. Formerly a prominent Oklahoma energy executive named Jerry D. Cash, he pleaded guilty in 2010 to a federal financial crime related to diverting $10 million from oil and gas companies he ran, served less than three years of a nine-year sentence, and changed his name before entering the kratom business.
