Aktor Group is a Greek construction and infrastructure company headquartered in Paiania, Attica, and listed on the Athens Stock Exchange. Founded in 1987 and formerly known as Intrakat, it works on civil engineering, infrastructure, renewable energy and real-estate projects and holds stakes in motorway concessions. Through a U.S. subsidiary, it has expanded into trading liquefied natural gas.

Greek tycoons fly Trump's ambassador on private jets
Its chief executive, Alexandros Exarchou, flew Guilfoyle to Davos on a private jet in January 2026. She encouraged Balkan governments to buy American gas from the company, and its U.S. subsidiary signed a roughly $6 billion, 20-year supply deal with Albania that she attended. A registered Aktor lobbyist accompanied her to official meetings. Its lawyers say she did not improperly promote its interests.
Trump restarts stalled natural gas export approvals paused by Biden
Liquefied Natural Gas sector — Liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal developers are the named beneficiary of Section 8(a). At pause-lift, nearly 100 million metric tons per annum of additional planned export capacity was unblocked, with downstream beneficiaries including the developers of Commonwealth LNG, Venture Global's CP2, Cheniere's Sabine Pass expansion, Energy Transfer's Lake Charles, and Sempra's Port Arthur LNG Phase 2.
