Jeffery and Melinda Hildebrand each gave $500,000 as oil-and-gas money flowed toward Trump's return. Their family's Hilcorp Energy is one of Alaska's largest operators, gaining from Arctic refuge leasing to the restart of natural gas exports. The Senate has since confirmed Melinda as Trump's Ambassador to Costa Rica.
