Isabela Herrera gave $3.5 million to MAGA Inc., the pro-Trump super PAC, in two contributions reported to the Federal Election Commission: $2.5 million on December 31, 2024, and $1 million on July 22, 2025. She listed herself as a self-employed financial consultant. Herrera, an American citizen, is the daughter of Julio Herrera Velutini, a billionaire banker from a prominent Venezuelan family who at the time was facing federal felony bribery charges in Puerto Rico. In August 2025 he pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor campaign finance charge, and in January 2026 Trump pardoned him. The New York Times reported the donations in its account of the family's effort to win him a pardon. Herrera did not respond to requests for comment.
