Aspect's $1 million was one of many oil-and-gas donations around Trump's return. ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, and Chevron also gave to the same inaugural committee. The industry has since collected a run of policy wins now flowing to the sector that gave: Interior reopening ANWR and auctioning the National Petroleum Reserve, the tax law letting drillers dodge the corporate minimum tax, and the EPA scrapping the climate endangerment finding.
